Admission Procedure

Registration:

Registration for admission of the child is done every year. The dates of which are announced in local news papers. Registration of a child does not guarantee admission in the school. Admission is open to all irrespective of caste, community or religion. Parents are requested to complete the registration form and submit it to the School Office along with birth certificate for pre-primary students and school leaving certificate for class 1 onwards.

Age:

Pupil seeking admission in nursery should be 2 years and 6 months of age on 30th June of the academic year in which admission is sought. No relaxation of age is permitted.

Admission Test:

After the registration the candidate has to appear in admission test in which psychomotor/ audio memory and visual memory senses of the child are tested. Prospective parents are also interviewed at the time of admission test. Senior class candidates have to appear in written test of all the subjects of the previous class.

Examination & Promotion Policy [Top]

The school is affiliated to CBSE (1030191). Within the framework of these syllabi the school has balanced programmes of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual growth of the students at all stages. To check the progress of the student, test and examination are very important. To achieve the scheme of studies the school has two periodical tests. Half yearly and Annual Examination. After clearing periodical test and Half Yearly Examination the students will be permitted to appear in the Annual Examination. Annual Assessment of the students performance will be based on following percentage.

Promotion to next class cannot be claimed as a matter of right. It depends on achievement level of the student as assessed by the school. A progress report of each student is maintained in the school office. No student will be given double promotion. The final result may be moderated by the Principal. There will be no re-examination under any circumstances. In case a child is not able to appear in the examination due to illness, the promotion will be decided by the Principal on merit of the previous tests & class work performance of the student.

Promotion policy for class VI - XI

  • Minimum attendance for eligibility to appear in Annual Examination is 75%.
  • Appearing in all examination is compulsory to be eligible to appear in the Annual Examination.
  • Minimum 33% marks in each subject, in aggregate, is mandatory to be declared pass.
  • It is essential to pass in both theory and practical separately (Class XI).

Note : The parents have to pay Rs. 50 per subject for Re-valuation for Annual Exam answer sheets.

Attendance rules [Top]

  • Please ensure that your ward comes to school regularly as 75% attendance is compulsory for every student. Specially in Board classes, the students will not be allowed to appear in the Practical Exam as per CBSE by, laws.
  • Your ward must not remain absent from the school without application.
  • Please do not send your ward to school if she is suffering from a contagious disease, till she is completely free from infection.

Admission Withdrawal [Top]

  1. A clear one month's notice or school dues in lieu is to be given when a student is to be withdrawn.
  2. T.C. and caution money will be released on clearance of school dues.
  3. The caution money will not be adjusted against other dues.
  4. In case a student stops attending the school without informing the authorities all dues of the school will have to be paid by the parents till information is received in writing.

T.C. Procedure

  • If you wish to apply for the Transfer Certificate then kindly apply in the month of February. No application will be entertained in the month of March, failing which next term fee is payable.
  • T.C. will be issued after seven days from the receipt of application.
  • Duplicate T.C. will be issued on payment of Rs. 200.
